Dr. Schulz uses her highly skilled craft to ensure that patients receive meticulous care.
Dr. Schulz attended the University of San Francisco for a B.A. in biology, graduating summa cum laude, and the Medical College of Wisconsin (Marquette University). She spent her residency at San Joaquin General Hospital in Stockton, where she was appointed Chief Resident.
Dr. Schulz sees patients with a wide range of obstetrical and gynecological issues, including infertility, recurrent miscarriage, high-risk obstetrics, menopause, and hysterectomy alternatives. Patients often come from other practices seeking her opinion in conservative, as well as alternative, management of their conditions. She is a fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology and is affiliated with all three hospitals in this area.
Dr. Sanders brings to the Medical Group of Women Physicians a mind open to making the best use of new advances in OB/GYN technologies and techniques for her patients.
Dr. Sanders received her B.A. and M.D. from the University of Southern California, graduating magna cum laude. For her internship and residency, she attended Martin Luther King Jr.-Charles R. Drew Medical Center (affiliated with UCLA), where she served as Chief Resident and received the Special Studies Award in Ultrasound.
Dr. Sanders treats both obstetrics and gynecology patients of many ages. She emphasizes the importance of women’s annual gynecological check-ups and of good prenatal care. Dr. Sanders is affiliated with all three hospitals in the South Bay area.
Dr. Soha A Elgharib approaches patient care with passion and respect. Her quiet demeanor, yet effective listening and communication skills make her very approachable by her patients.
Dr. Soha A Elgharib's extensive educational and clinical training coupled with her keen focus on detail enables her to creatively use the latest advances in OB/GYN techniques for the ultimate care of her patients. Dr. Soha A Elgharib, M.D. was born in Egypt and graduated from the Mansoura University Medical School near the top of her class, with the high distinction of “Very Good with Honors”.
Dr. Soha A Elgharib completed her residency at Providence Hospital in Southfield, Michigan, where she received extensive training in Urogynecology and high-risk pregnancy management, in addition to a comprehensive variety of laparoscopy, hysteroscopy, and Endometrial Ablation procedures.
Dr. Soha A Elgharib's residency training was supplemented with ample research opportunities, leading to a publication in the American Journal of Obstetrics and Gynecology.
Dr. Soha A Elgharib is married and has 2 daughters. In her spare time, Dr. Soha A Elgharib enjoys reading, traveling, and spending time with her family.
Dr. Antonia Cotwright received her B.S. from Clark Atlanta University in Biology, where she graduated cum laude and went to Philadelphia of Osteopathis Medical School Methodist Hospital. She trained at Brooklyn, New York Methodist Hospital, in Obstetrics and Gynecology. During Residency she served as chief resident and received the departmental residency research award for her study on the glucola test for gestational diabetes screening.
Dr. Cotwright then did a Fellowship at University of Southern California in Family Planning and Contraception. This training provided Dr. Cotwright with additional surgical training not typically received in residency, and provided her an in depth understanding of the treatment options for dysfunctional uterine bleeding, breakthrough bleeding and menstrual cramps. She gains patient's trust by providing thorough care.
Dr. Cotwright is affiliated with both Torrance Memorial Hospital and Little Company of Mary.In her spare time, Dr. Cotwright enjoys 5/10k runs, shopping, and spending quality time with family and friends.
